Mackie SRM1850 18 800W RMS DJ Disco Band PA Active Powered Subwoofer. SRM1850 is the first subwoofer model in the latest series of SRM speakers from industry experts Mackie. The SRM1801 is capable of serving up huge quantities of chest-pounding bass and is the perfect addition to full-range powered speakers such as the SRM550 and 650 two-way models. SRM1850 is ideal for mobile DJs, bands and other mobile performers who want to add significant amounts of bottom end to their portable PA system. SRM1850 boasts a total system power of 1600w (an incredible 800w RMS) which is more than nearly anything in it's class. The punch from the Mackie SRM1850 comes courtesy if a single, high-power 18 woofer which is custom designed for the 850 and further aided by front-firing bass ports which improve bass response and reduce unwanted resonance.

This high-output driver is matched to a custom class AB amplifier which produces 800w RMS continuous power and offers superb efficiency across all output levels. Mackie SRM1850s feature and all-wood, braced construction which Mackie claim is "built like a tank".

This tough, robust construction makes the SRM1850 perfect for a life on-the-road and can withstand the rigours of mobile use. To ensure that no power is wasted, clever onboard audio processing is uses including an integrated digital crossover which can be adjusted or used on one of the pre-sets designed for combining the 1850 with other SRM speakers. On the off-chance that you push the SRM1850 a little too hard, it has Mackie's'Smart Protect' protection system in place to prevent permanent damage to the amplifier or driver components.

Connectivity on the SRM-1850 is via stereo XLR for both input and output. The 1850 features both full-range and high-pass thru puts for use with additional subs or with full-range top cabs.
